Partnership & Pricing

Trilingual, credentialed college advising for the families your mission already serves.

Rumos doesn't replace school counselors — we fill the gap their caseloads can't reach. We bring sustained, individualized advising in English, Portuguese, and Spanish to first-generation and immigrant families, and partner directly with the schools, districts, and community organizations that serve them.

For school counselors

A note for school counselors

"We do not replace school counselors. We supplement the work you do."

School counselors are doing essential work under conditions that make it almost impossible to give every family the time the work deserves. With caseloads of 300 to 500 students each, Massachusetts public high school counselors cannot offer sustained one-on-one advising to every family who needs it — not because they lack the skill or the will, but because the math doesn't allow it.

Rumos provides the layer of sustained, individualized, multilingual attention that school counselors don't have time for. We work alongside you, not against you. We refer families back to school counselors for school-specific guidance, Naviance access, and the institutional context only you can provide. We share information in both directions when families consent.

If you're a school counselor wondering whether to refer a family to Rumos, we welcome the conversation. We can do a free 20-minute consultation with you about a specific family's situation, with no expectation that you commit to anything afterward.

Why partner

Why partner with us.

Trilingual delivery, credentialed advisor.

Rumos is led by Franci DaLuz — twelve years of college admissions experience across four Massachusetts public higher education institutions, the 2023 NEACAC Professional of the Year, a College Board Enrollment Leadership Academy alumna, and an active MEFA contractor producing Portuguese-language webinars. Trilingual delivery in English, Portuguese, and Spanish is built in.

Mission alignment with equity-focused funders.

Rumos's service architecture is designed around access. Sliding-scale pricing, pro bono spots, and group cohort programs are built into the practice. For CBOs whose grant funding requires equity-centered programming, this alignment is an asset.

Outcome reporting that fits grant requirements.

We deliver structured outcome data — families served, languages of delivery, sliding-scale and pro bono percentages, and college enrollment outcomes where consented — suitable for the reporting frameworks most grant funders require.

A founder who has been on both sides of the desk.

Franci built her career in admissions and is now serving the families she watched fall through the cracks for twelve years. Partner organizations don't have to explain the gap — she's lived it, named it in published research, and built Rumos specifically to address it.

Where we've worked

At launch, Rumos is a new venture but the founder's institutional relationships are not. Active and past institutional engagements include:

As Rumos's institutional partnership portfolio grows, this section will expand to reflect the partner organizations directly engaged with Rumos.
